As part of our mission to empower our customers to nourish their bodies in simple ways, we offer a variety of classes at Simply Nourished Mason City. Class prices vary based on supplies required. Reservations and advanced payment are required.  (online payment includes a $1.00 paypal fee)

Our classes have been selling out so quickly, that we are only taking calls and in-store sign-ups to avoid accidently overbooking our classes.  Please call us at 641-450-0893 or stop in at 13 South Federal Ave. in Mason City to register and find out more about our class offerings.

Simply Nourished's Power of Produce

9 a.m. - Noon

We are proud to be part of the Mason City Farmer's Market

in Central Park for our fourth season,

sponsoring Power of Produce (POP).

POP is a fun hands-on opportunity for kids to make and try

healthy foods and snacks. Each week there is something new!

Make sure to bring your kids by to say hello, try new foods and have fun.

Sourdough Creations

$35 -  This class will be taught by Kaylinn and Kim and designed for those wanting to start the process of sourdough bread baking and creative ways of using discard.

You will be making Tortillas and English Muffins with discard.

The same class is being offered TWICE.

We will be closed on the 4th and 5th so our staff can celebrate the

Independence Day with friends and family. See you Saturday, July 6th when we will be open our regular hours of 9 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Pickle It!

$25 - Steve Strasheim from Twisted River Farms (TRF) will be teaching you how to pickle! He'll give tips and tricks on pickling the bounty of North Iowa and all class participants will go home with

a jar of TRF fresh in-season veggies that have been pickled.


July 16th

6:00 p.m.

Beef Marrow and Wine Pairing

$30 - Join Knute & Amanda Severson from Grand View Beef as they teach you how to prepare Beef Bone Marrow. Kaylinn will share wine pairings for the Bone Marrow Appetizer that will be served.

Make plans to enjoy dinner at a restaurant on the Plaza after this demonstration and tasting.
